The Model of the Universe (MOTU) is a global, prestigious event that promotes tourism and culture by creating an event to promote tourism within fashion, arts and culture.
MODEL OF THE UNIVERSE® is a model competition established in 1991 to promote the tourism within fashion, arts and culture. Entertainment, fashion and arts are some of the worlds greatest tourism assets and holds enormous growth potential.
Model of the Universe strongly believe in the promoting women and encouraging contestants to feel empowered.

MOTU encourage women of all cultural backgrounds to symbolise their fashion and beauty highlighting confidence wearing their National Costume, Evening Gown and Swimsuit. MOTU have hosted in 4 continents, where each contestant is also competing for the chance to win their countries Continent title.

MODEL OF THE UNIVERSE® STORY
Established in 1991, owned, founded, and produced by Mr John Singh. Model of the Universe is one of Mr Singh’s global brands that celebrates beauty, tourism and culture.
The core emphasis of the MODEL OF THE UNIVERSE® beauty competition has always been to promote the host country of each year’s final and the importance of fashion, arts and culture.
Mr John Singh has collaborated with brands and worked closely with tourist boards of our partner countries with the common goal of highlighting fashion, arts and culture therefore benefiting the country.
Tourism is a $100 billion industry, and our aim is to help host countries attract both domestic and international tourists, as well as foreign investment and expenditure in the current difficult global tourism market.
Model of the Universe have had the honour of hosting MODEL OF THE UNIVERSE® Final in 4 continents and successfully boosted tourism.
From countries such as Taiwan, Lebanon, Malta and Turkey. Not only do Model of the Universe extensively champion the tourism of the host country through the Model of the Universe pageant, we also aim to promote each country competing. Each contestant is not only undeniably beautiful in her own right.
